Get certified to use a forklift in 4 1/2 hour course in Hope on August 3 for only $75

Do you know someone who would like to be certified to operate a forklift? They can do it in Hope on August 3.

The forklift certification training class will be held at the University of Arkansas Hope campus on Saturday, August 3, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Technical & Industrial Building room 160. 

The class is $75 per person and is limited to a maximum of 15 participants available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The class is instructed by Iry T. Rice, owner of Rice Safety Consultants. The class is compliant with OSHA specifications and provides a three-year certification.

The Department of Labor requires any forklift operator to hold an OSHA forklift certification. Certification can increase workplace safety and productivity and lower costs. A forklift operator card and certificate will be awarded to attendees after successfully completing the course.
